I come to you with a Masters in Oriental Medicine and I am a NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Years before I started my journey in Oriental medicine I began my studies in energy medicine. A lifelong intuitive I found energy healing familiar and fascinating. My training began with Therapeutic Touch which quickly led to Polarity Therapy, Healing Touch, Reiki, Reflexology, and the list goes on and on. I even went to massage school and am also a board certified massage therapist.
After passing my Oriental medical boards and venturing into private practice I sought out to learn a technique that intrigued me beyond belief. That technique was Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET). I had already been using kinesiology in a variety of ways for over 10 years at that point and this technique took everything to a whole new level. I spent years flying to CA from FL to take every class I could on this technique and practiced relentlessly on my clients.
One hurdle I found, for me personally, was when an allergen had a deep seated emotional root on an emotional level. This took me down a rabbit hole that I am still in today, leading me to study Nero Emotional Technique (NET), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and to really dig deeper into my own psyche through a variety of techniques like dream work and meditation.
At this point I had already been meditating for quite some time, but on and off the wagon when life got in the way. It was at this point that my practice really became anchored. I started experimenting with middle of the night meditations and finding what really worked for me personally to access my higher, spiritual self / body in communion with what I perceive as the Creative Forces, Divine Love or God.
Around this time a client who lived in another state who I was treating while she was visiting my area asked me if I could do the emotional work I did on her over the phone. I said no at first as I didn’t think there was any way I could do it as I had always done my work with clients in person. At that time I was transitioning out of solely relying on kinesiology and into using scrying. Scrying is nothing more that gazing at an inanimate object and being able to “see” an answer to a question. I actually “hear” and “see”…and sometimes “feel” and on occasion “smell” what is going on. For me, I would scry not with a cool crystal ball or ominous bowl of water, but with the walls in my treatment rooms. Boring I know, but blank walls work great for me personally. And that is still how I work today.
So I agreed to try to treat this client over the phone and low and behold it worked! I ended up treating that client every week for a year over the phone. Now that I knew this work that I was doing could be done over the phone I started treating new clients when my schedule was too full to see them in person as my son was a baby and I was only holding part-time office hours.
I started working remotely with clients remotely from all over and well as my in-person acupuncture practice. This is not where I saw this work going, but you can never predict or suppose on life as it usually takes a route you least expect at the time!
Then it all changed again.
While listening to a lecture and then subsequently taking a workshop with Dr. William Bengston and learning about his research with resonate bonding, something clicked. Resonate bonding is the energetic bond that all living creatures share with one another and in Bengston’s research he found that this bond can influence another’s health.
Dr. Bengston has repeatedly proven in the lab with fMRI’s that when studying healer and healee the healer’s brainwave frequency would match Schummann’s resonance which is an electromagnetic wave that is always circling the Earth. Then they he found that the healee’s brainwaves would start to harmonize as well! This phase locking, two brains (healer and healee) syncing up together to match the harmonious frequency the healer emits with image cycling.
I then found myself experimenting with trying to hold the Oneness of All or what we may call the Light of Truth and inviting the client to mirror that frequency. I truly believe this is the vibration of true healing. It is free, available to us all 24/7, but we are the only ones who can bring our bodies to this level. It is so easy, yet so difficult to hold. This is why repetition is key. In my 1.5 hour offering before I leave the room to allow the client to rest with the needles guide the client through guided imagery into this resonance. I encourage us all to play around with this vibration and make it our own, playing with holding this vibration throughout the day. Maybe it is for a moment at a stop light, part of your rhythm when brushing your teeth, or how you enter the silence in meditation - holding this frequency gives your body, mind and soul the pattern of healing.
On a personal note, I am also a devoted wife to the most caring man I have ever met, mother to an extraordinary son and elderly dog who individually bring me out of my self and teach me how to be a more loving person daily. My passions include striving towards a zero waste lifestyle, supporting local sustainable agriculture, ardently studying the Edgar Cayce readings, and anything that has to do with the word rescue (animal, habitat, etc.) as I am an Enneagram 2 after all ;)
My husband and I are the co-founders of the non-profit Stories Lived, were we seek to connect humanity on a global scale and to inspire individuals to greater heights through the power of visual story telling.
In my free time you can find me gardening in the warmer months, getting out into nature with my family, taking a workshop or resting in the Oneness I find in meditation.
Well, there you have it in a rather large nutshell. If you have gotten this far I applaud you. I pray that you got a sense of what I’m all about, my authenticity and most importantly, my sincerity.
I look forward to co-creating optimum health with you!

*Side note: I strive to practice ahimsa in my life. Ahimsa is an ancient Indian principle of nonviolence which applies to all living beings. While I do not condone animals being used in research, I do reference Dr. Bengston’s work in which he has used mice…a ton of mice over the past 30 years. I understand that in this day in age in order to be relevant in contemporary science when conducting and publishing research animal testing is a standard practice. This hurts my heart, but I see this is where science is at collectively at this time.
